When Tokyo Ghoul was first published, it took the anime and manga world by storm. The plot was original to viewers and readers, and the characters were dark and intriguing. When it comes to the show, one of the main characters, Touka, is often discussed.
Touka is a ghoul who works as a waitress at the restaurant Anteiku when we first encounter her. She later rises to the role of manager, but only after the Owl Suppression Operation. HER PAST
During their time at the 20th ward, Touka, her brother, and her father had to blend in with the rest of the humans for a long time. To accomplish this, her father, Arata, taught them how to behave like humans, even teaching them how to eat human food.
Her father was eventually apprehended by ghoul investigators, but Touka never gave up. They eventually ran away from home, and as they grew older, they continued to use their abilities until she found work at a coffee shop.
COMPLICATED SIBLING RELATIONSHIP
Touka makes it a point to protect her brother with her life because they are the last two members of their family. They, on the other hand, have very different perspectives on the environment and, in particular, humans. Ayato, her brother, despises humans for taking his family to ruin.

HER RELATIONSHIP WITH KANEKI

Of course, as with any big girl/guy novel, the two of them will fall in love with each other. The whole hate-to-heart plot is a staple of any decent love story, and this one was no exception. She finally assists him in acclimating to his new life as a ghoul. They develop feelings for each other and ultimately marry.
THE UKAKU KAGUNE
Touka’s kagnue belongs to the ukaku kagune family and is well-known for its presence. It detaches itself from their shoulders and assumes the appearance of features. This form of kagune is known for their quick attacks but lack of stamina.
They excel at long-range combat rather than close combat, which is one of their weaknesses. Their kagune can also be used as a shield, which is useful if they ever find themselves in close combat. They have a proclivity for ending fights quickly, owing to the fact that they must do so before their strength runs out.
THE INCOMPLETE KAGUNE
While strong, Touka’s kagune is actually incomplete, which may surprise some fans. Touka is to blame for everything that has happened. She made the mistake of releasing her Kagnue when she was young.
Ghouls are not allowed to release their Kagnue while they’re young because they can’t adequately handle it or retain the strength that the kagune possesses. Although it might not seem to be a wise decision, it was truly a selfless act. Her brother was about to be kidnapped and torn apart by ghoul investigators, so she used her kagune to shield him.
WEAKNESS
Touka isn’t a bad character by any stretch of the imagination, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have flaws. Her stamina leaves much to be desired, despite her superhuman speed and endurance. She becomes weaker the more she battles. That isn’t to say she won’t fight to the bitter end. She’s a stubborn and strong-willed woman who would rather fight until she ran out of endurance than give in.
