Hinami Fueguchi

Don’t let the looks of this cute vampire fool you! She was still young, but she had a great promise as a warrior, inheriting both her father’s attacking rinkaku and her mother’s defensive koukaku kagune. Although the two powers are less useful in combat, her hearing and smell are also impressive and she is able to discern minor changes in both respects.

Iwao Kuroiwa

Iwao Kuroiwa

Kuroiwa is part of the CCG and is a special rank vampire investigator. He has strength, high resilience, and is an extremely capable fighter, and is one of the only ones who can injure one of the strongest vampires. His son inherited his talents, and is a level 1 investigator.

Uta

Uta
Uta

Uta used to be the leader of ward 4, but at the start of Tokyo Ghoul, started a successful business selling masks to both humans and ghouls. Of course, just because he sold the mask didn’t mean he lost the power that made him the leader. He can regenerate quickly, and has never been seen fighting with his kagune, but he doesn’t seem to need it as he can match powerful warriors with his bare hands. We can only speculate how strong he will fight.

Ken Kaneki

Ken Kaneki
Ken Kaneki

Kaneki Ken was born as a human. After being attacked by a vampire, he becomes half human and ghoul, and learns to control his vampire’s abilities. Ken awakened his kagune, became a kakuja and earned the nickname as a centipede because of the kagune’s appearance.

Ken Kaneki’s hybrid status makes him much stronger than those born with vampires. His Rinkaku Kagune has grown overtime creating more tentacles with greater reach. And he also became adept at controlling his Kagune with ease, though he struggled with this at first.

Kaneki is also an excellent strategist who can think on her feet, while also proficient with the quinque Yukimura 1/3 Koukaku. And if that doesn’t make him a total bad guy, he also possesses superhuman strength, agility, stamina, and extraordinary regeneration.

Matasaka Kamishiro (Shachi)

Matasaka Kamishiro (Shachi)

Shachi is the former leader of ward 6. Although he looks big and scary, and is actually very strong, he is a gentle spirit and avoids unnecessary murder. A rank SS bikaku, his ghoul powers are not the only thing that makes him one of the strongest characters, as he has mastered a number of different martial arts.

Noro

Noro
Noro

Noro is one of the one-eyed king’s immediate subordinates, the leader of the terrorist organization Aogiri Tree. Noro has limited strength because of her combat or destructive power (nothing to mockery of). He’s strong because he can win almost any fight just by overcoming his opponent’s damage! Like Tatara, there are a lot of mysteries surrounding him, and could become much stronger than we know it.

Tatara

Tatara
Tatara

Originally from the Chinese Ghoul organization Chi She Lian, Tatara was the second commander of the Aogiri Tree. Although his full abilities are still unclear, the second commander and a lot of ghoul subordinates definitely mean he is strong. Tatara can handle entire crowds of vampires on her own, and seems to be able to withstand even powerful direct blows. Because we know so little about him, he is temporarily placed in 4th place.

Yoshimura

Yoshimura
Yoshimura

Yoshimura kindly manages ward 20 and owns a coffee shop. An SSS-rated vampire, he was once referred to by CCG as the One-Eyed Owl until later revelations caused them to change their name to the Do not Kill Owl. He can carry entire groups of attackers on his own, but only fights when absolutely necessary.

He is able to defeat his opponents using both short and long-range attacks. At close range, he uses his Kakuja form, which sports large crosses protruding from his shoulders. And for long-range attacks, he shoots debris from his entire body, while his Kagune allows different forms of Kakuhous to fire bullets in more focused patterns.

Eto

Eto
Eto

As the daughter of Yoshimura, it’s not surprising that Eto ranks as one of the strongest Tokyo Ghoul characters as she inherits her father’s abilities and then a number. In her human form, she is the attractive Sen Takatsuki and a talented horror novelist. But in ghoul form, she is a one-eyed owl and the founding member of Aogiri Tree.

Eto’s Ukaku Kagune takes the form of bizarre appendages shaped like arms, legs, eyes, and mouth that escape from her back are controlled by her thoughts. Her Kagune can also be separated, thus dragging her enemies. She also has the ability to manipulate her Ukaku Kakuja in form changes. In addition, she prides itself on agility and regeneration.

Kishou Arima

Kishou Arima
Kishou Arima

One of Kishou Arima’s many traits is that he is calm and collected, even when the odds are stacked on him. As a vampire, he possesses extraordinary physical abilities superior to his peers.

His lightning quick reflexes confuse opponents, as he tries to block and dodge their most dangerous attacks. He raises the ante thanks to his exemplary skill with his quinque. Arima uses the attack and defense modes of the quinque Yukimura 1/3, IXA, Narukami, and Owl depending on the situation he encounters.
